Marc Berger Concert

A free after hours concert at the library! Marc has performed at Austin's SXSW Music Festival and the Kerrville and Falcon Ridge Folk Festivals and has opened for Bob Dylan and other national acts. His antinuclear anthem, The Last One, was a staple of Richie Havens' concerts. His critically acclaimed album, RIDE, is a collection of songs all having to do with the romance of the West. At this special concert, Marc will perform songs from the album and share some unforgettable stories of his experiences as an easterner in remote parts the mountain and desert West. 

Please note- there will be no library services during this event.

Audubon Society Presents: Local Birds

Friday Favorites

Friday Favorites, George Hail Library's book sharing group, meets on the first Friday of the month (September through June) 11am-12 noon


New members are always welcome.  Each participant is encouraged to talk about a book they would like to recommend to others.

If you wish to join via Zoom, please send an email to info@georgehail.com to receive a Zoom link for the meeting.

Books on Main is a monthly book club sponsored by the Friends of the Library. We meet in the Children's Room of George Hail Free Library on the second Thursday of every month at 6pm. Books are supplied by the library.
