3D Printing Workshop with RI Computer Museum

Join us for a 3D Printing Workshop with the RI Computer Museum. Learn 3D object design using BlocksCAD, observe a 3D printer, create a custom name tag with adjustable font, size, and thickness, and receive a 3D print of your name tag. All materials will be provided by RICM and no experience is necessary!

Summer Family Paint Night

Adults and kids over 12, come to the library for our Summer Quest! family paint night. Stay on theme with Level Up at Your Library as we learn to paint Princess Peach together. All materials provided, no experience necessary.

Creative Writing Workshop

Calling all writers! Come to our monthly creative writing group where we will check in with each other about current or future projects, share work for feedback, and experiment with fun writing prompts. Whether you have been working on that novel for years, or are just getting into creative writing, all genres and experience levels are welcome. This group is for ages 18 and up. Stop by and get to know the other writers in your community! Registration encouraged but not required.

Knitters Club

Calling amateurs and professional knitters! Come knit in our circle! Bring a current project or start a new one!

Yarn and needles offered for beginners! We meet every Tuesday at 6pm in the George Hail Library Reading Room.

Hand Embroidery Club

The Hand Embroidery Club will meet one Thursday/month at 5:30pm and is on summer break. 

The next meeting is September 25.

Book Discussion Groups

Friday Favorites

On Summer Break! See you on September 5th at 11am

Friday Favorites, George Hail Library's book sharing group, meets on the first Friday of the month 11am-12 noon.


New members are always welcome.  Each participant is encouraged to talk about a book they would like to recommend to others.

Books on Main is a monthly book club sponsored by the Friends of the Library. We will meet at La Piñata on Wednesday, July 30th at 6pm. Books are supplied by the library.
