Open Mic Night

Our popular Open Mic Night is now a monthly event! Join us at the George Hail Free Library for a gathering of artists of all kinds. This cozy night of community will feature an open-mic for musicians, poets, writers, and anyone else compelled to take the stage.
Open Mic is canceled for September and our next one is October 14.
Knitters Club
Calling amateurs and professional knitters! Come knit in our circle! Bring a current project or start a new one!
Yarn and needles offered for beginners! We meet every Tuesday at 6pm in the George Hail Library Reading Room.
Book Discussion Groups
COMING SOON! Jane Austen Book Club

Are you an Austenophile? Have you never read any of her books but have always wanted to? Do you love to love (or hate) the different adaptations? If so, this book club is for YOU.
We are starting by reading each of Austen's books in order. Come to the meeting having read the book and watched an adaptation of your choosing. Our first meeting will be about Sense and Sensibility on October 27 at 6pm.
Call the library and speak to Meredith or Amelia for more information.
Friday Favorites
First Friday of the month @ 11am
New members are always welcome. Each participant is encouraged to talk about a book they would like to recommend to others.

Books on Main is a monthly book club sponsored by the Friends of the Library. Our next meeting is on September 23 at a Perella's Ristorante at 6 pm. Books are supplied by the library.
