Friends of the Library

The George Hail Free Library is a private, non-profit 501c(3) entity that serves as the public library for the Town of Warren. A yearly grant from the Town of Warren covers part of the operational expenses such as salaries and utilities. Library programs and as well as maintenance and upgrades to the 135 year old historic building are funded through small endowments, grants and the efforts of the Friends of the Library. Friends of the Library dues and proceeds from Friends fundraising events such as bake/plant/book sales, teas and other community campaigns are used to support library programs for all age groups.
